Tipperary schools learn their fate as quarter-final draw is made for the Harty Cup

Thurles CBS and Nenagh CBS have been handed tricky tiesin this afternoon's TUS Dr Harty Cup quarter-final draw which has thrown up some intriguing encounters for supporters to look forward to next January.

Nenagh CBS have been drawn to face Rebel opposition with CBC Cork the opposition for the north Tipperary school, while Thurles CBS face off against Harty Cup royalty in St Flannan's of Ennis in their last eight clash.

The final two quarter-final ties have thrown up county derbies as Midleton CBS faces off against Charleville CBS, while Limerick schools Ard Scoil Rís and St John's the Baptist Hospital make up the rest of the draw in what will be two fiercely contested games.

Elsewhere, there was Tipperary representation in the TUS Corn Mhuiri U19A Football draw as Abbey CBS were handed a very tough draw, with Tralee CBS the opposition in January in their quarter-final clash.
