Tipperary hurling manager Liam Cahill
The Tipperary senior hurlers and footballers will make their first appearances of the New Year in the next week.
The footballers will be the first into action when they travel to Austin Stack Park in Tralee to take on Kerry in the McGrath Cup at 7.30pm on Wednesday night, January 3.
The referee is Cork's James Regan.
In their next game Tipperary play Limerick in Templetuohy at 2pm on Sunday January 14.
The hurlers, meanwhile, face Waterford in Fraher Field at 2pm on Sunday, January 7 in their opening game in the Co-Op Superstores Munster Hurling League.
The referee is Cork's Simon Stokes.
On the following Sunday, January 14, they entertain Kerry at MacDonagh Park, Nenagh at 2pm.
