Dàwna (Tipperary) and Jamie McIntyre (Galway) were flown to Paris as part of Three’s City Stages initiative after they were chosen by the Irish star to support him on recent sold out shows at Supersonic Records in the French capital and they got to play one of Gavin James hit songs ‘Afterlife’ with the headliner at the picturesque location.

Dàwna is an Irish pop artist from Tipperary who has made his name busking around cities and towns in Ireland. Dàwna began releasing music in 2019. His latest release, I L L I A D has received national and regional airplay,  leading to support slots with Irish headliners Hermitage Green and Susan O Neill, and a sold out single launch in the Kenyon, Nenagh. He released his latest single ‘Did You Ever’ in November 2023 and plays a headline show at The Dot Theatre in Dublin on 15th March.

Earlier in February, Kildare pianist Gemma Cox and songwriter Rachel Grace from Wexford were picked from over 500 applicants to join Gavin James in Amsterdam to open for him at the beautiful Vondelkerk Church, playing to full house audiences both nights. The trip also saw them record a special collaborative version of Gavin’s hit song ‘Always’ in Sony Music Netherlands HQ.

For over a year now it has continued to help support and nurture new and exciting musical talent across the country through incredible live experiences and offering career opportunities to burgeoning performers, taking them from the city streets to the biggest stages in Ireland and beyond.
