Clonmel Credit Union has announced the launch of its Student Bursary Award Scheme 2024.
The bursary is available for local leaving certificate students to help alleviate some of the financial burden associated with attending third level education.
The bursaries of €2,000 each will be awarded to assist seven qualifying students from secondary schools in the local community, who intend to pursue their academic goals in third level education.
The bursary is for full-time courses of at least one year in duration.
Proof of course application will be required.
Applications are now open to sixth year students commencing third-level education in September 2024.
Those interested in applying can do so via an application form on www.clonmelcu.com/bursary.
Applicants must currently attend one of the secondary schools within the local community.
Presentation Secondary School, Clonmel, Loreto Secondary School, Clonmel, CBS Highschool, Clonmel, Raheen College, Clonmel, Gaelcholáiste Chéitinn, Clonmel, Patrician Presentation Secondary School, Fethard among other local schools, are all on the list of schools whose students may apply.
Applying students must be a member of or open an account with Clonmel Credit Union.
The closing date is August 10th, 2024.

The seven winning applicants will be selected by a panel of adjudicators.
The bursary is not performance-based and open to through the online application process.
The Bursary is a one-time payment of €2,000 each paid into the seven winning candidates' Clonmel Credit Union accounts.
