Former Tipperary senior hurling coach Tony Browne has been added to Ken McGrath's Waterford U 20 hurling backroom staff for the 2025 season.
The news of his appointment was confirmed during a Waterford county board meeting on Monday night.
Browne, the Hurler of the Year in 1998, takes over from Dan Shanahan, who is set to join Peter Queally's Déise senior team next year.
In recent years, Browne served as a coaching support for the Tipperary seniors under Liam Cahill for two seasons. Cahill initially brought Browne on board with Waterford in 2022.
