Computer Adventure Camp At LIT Tipperary

Interested in computing?  Want to experience the range of applications, systems and industries in which computing is applied?  LIT Tipperary is running its very popular Computing Summer Camp again this year.  This fun and interesting camp will expose you to the world of Computer Services, Games Development, Multi-Media and Smart Energy systems.  Hosted by experts from the Technology, Media and Science Department, this is an ideal opportunity to enter the computing world and get an understanding of what is involved.

Interested in computing?  Want to experience the range of applications, systems and industries in which computing is applied?  LIT Tipperary is running its very popular Computing Summer Camp again this year.  This fun and interesting camp will expose you to the world of Computer Services, Games Development, Multi-Media and Smart Energy systems.  Hosted by experts from the Technology, Media and Science Department, this is an ideal opportunity to enter the computing world and get an understanding of what is involved.

Run over 4 days, the camp will have special workshops on:

Computing: how do computers work, what are the main components and what do computer system managers do

Games Development: enter the dynamic world of games design

Smart Energy Systems: How can we measure energy and control the energy systems of the future

Multi-media: how are web sites designed, social media experiences

There will also be a day trip to an industry to experience first-hand the work that goes on in a major computing company.

The summer camp is aimed at 5th year students and takes place from 5th to 8th June incl.  The cost for the week is €50, which includes all meals and transport.
