Five-time All-Ireland winner Séamus Flanagan is set for a new challenge in Tipperary, with the former Limerick star poised to take charge of Boherlahan Dualla’s premier intermediate hurlers.
Flanagan recently stepped away from the Limerick senior panel after being left out of John Kiely’s plans for the coming season, the 2021 All-Star endured a difficult year with limited opportunities on the field, and his departure from the panel surprised many across the hurling community.
The 28-year-old full forward's move into team management has generated plenty of interest, and Boherlahan Dualla have acted quickly to secure his services.
The Mid Tipp club enjoyed an encouraging 2024 campaign, reaching the county semi-finals under the guidance of former Tipperary captain Conor Gleeson.
Flanagan has yet to finalise his management team for the upcoming club season in 2026.
