To celebrate National Tree Week 2026 (March 8th–15th), the Tree Council of Ireland and Coillte, with the support of Tipperary County Council, will make free saplings available to voluntary community groups and schools.
Groups/Schools wishing to avail of saplings must commit to planting them in a suitable public location within their local community.

Please note that a limited number of saplings are available this year. Saplings will be allocated on a first‑come, first‑served basis, and a priority ranking system may be applied. Preference will be given to community groups that:
1. Can outline the success of previous tree‑planting efforts, and
2. Can clearly demonstrate the location where the saplings will be planted.
If your group is interested in receiving saplings, please complete and submit the Sapling Order Form 2026 by Sunday 8th March.
We kindly ask all participating groups, schools, and community organisations to register their planting activities at nationaltreeweek.ie
