Six people have been taken to hospital following a three car collision in North Tipperary this afternoon.
Gardai and emergency services rushed to the scene of the accident which occurred at Congor, Borrisokane at around 1pm.
Six occupants of the vehicles involved in the collision were transported to University Hospital Limerick as a precaution.
Diversions were put in place however the road has since reopened. Gardai are urging all motorists to take extra precautions when driving today, particularly those in counties with a Status Yellow Rainfall Warning in place.
