An application for THRIVE Strand 1 funding in the amount of €200,000 for the preparation of a Town Centre First Plan has been approved for Nenagh.
This will cover consultancy costs to work with the Town Team on the creation of an integrated urban strategy (TCF Plan), project identification and bringing a project to ‘shovel ready’ stage including design, surveys, assessments, financial planning, investigation works etc.
A tender is currently being drafted for the appointment of consultants for this purpose.
A meeting will be arranged of the Town Team before the end of October.
