Larkins Bar & Restaurant in Garrykennedy in north Tipperary, has won the Best Contemporary Irish Cuisine award for Tipperary at this year's Munster Regional Irish Restaurant Awards.
Larkins is located in a picturesque setting on the shores of Lough Derg, just 10 minutes outside of Nenagh and is without a doubt one of the finest locations in Tipperary for a meal or a few pints.
The Irish Restaurant Awards Munster Regional Final took place this week, celebrating the outstanding contributions of the food and hospitality industry across the province. The awards ceremony was held on Tuesday, March 25, at the Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa in Little Island, Cork, where county winners were announced.

As the regional finals continue, anticipation builds for the All-Ireland Awards Gala Dinner, where both regional and overall national winners will be revealed. The grand event is set to take place on Monday, May 19, at the Clayton Hotel, Burlington Road, Dublin. County winners from Munster can now secure their tickets for what promises to be a great evening.
