Nenagh Arts Centre will host a night of outstanding original music on Saturday, September 20, at 8pm, as Nomads bring their unique blend of blues, folk, and indie rock to the stage.
Nomads is the creative project of Jimmy Tooher and Daryl Hogan, two musicians who have come together to craft carefully written songs with lyrics that range from the abstract to the deeply personal.

For this Nenagh performance, they will be joined by Marty Ryan and Philly Brett, two well-known local musicians who add depth and energy to the band’s live sound.
Together, the four promise a full, old-fashioned band sound delivered with skill and heart. It is a night not to be missed if you crave original music featuring carefully crafted songs and lyrics that range from the abstract to the personal.
The evening will also feature a support performance from Gary Scully, a Nenagh native and secondary school teacher at Nenagh CBS. Scully has made a name for himself locally with Butterfly in the Storm, a project that blends spoken word, poetry, music, and video.
Gary's work explores themes from local identity—such as his tribute piece Nenagh, mo stór. He has released an album, Bleeding Words, on Spotify, and has previously performed to sold-out audiences at the Nenagh Arts Centre.
