Tributes have poured in following the 'untimely' passing of Anne Galvin who was originally from Rush Co. Dublin but had called Toomevara, Co. Tipperary home for the remainder of her life.
Many who knew Anne reflected on her sense of humour and wit while former colleagues shared what a pleasure it had been to work with and know her. Friends and former colleagues left loving farewell messages to Anne on her rip.ie page.
One former colleague wrote: "I was lucky enough to have worked in Airside with Anne and she was a pleasure to be around. A very kind person feel lucky to have known her."

Another said: "Your big heart, strong mind and will, your humour and wit, which made us all smile and laugh will always be remembered. Loyal to all you truly loved. Such a sweet soul. May you rest in peace my friend. All my love and one last hug."
Another former colleague said: "I worked with Anne in the vaccination centre and in HSE Airside. She was a beautiful kind and caring lady who made us all laugh with her funny stories and sayings. Anne was always very kind to me and I will remember her fondly."
Anne is sadly missed by her loving husband P.J. Meagher, daughter Leaha, sister Ellen, brothers Pat, Dennis, Gerard, John and Thomas, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Anne Galvin will be reposing at Rock's Funeral Home, Swords on Thursday Dec 12th evening from 4.30pm to 6pm Removal on Friday Dec 13 morning to St. Maur's Church, Rush arriving for 10am Mass followed by funeral to Dardistown Crematorium.
