Tributes have been pouring in for Mary Kennedy who passed unexpectedly last week.
Mary is remembered for her kind nature towards people and animals alike, her hard work as part of her local farming community and how she ""devoted herself to the nourishment of all around her".
Friends Mary made over the course of her life have paid tribute to her on her rip.ie page.
One person wrote: "she was a kind beautiful person"
Another said: "A lovely lady always."

A friend wrote: "Its hard to believe just a week ago we were talking about getting organised for ewes lambing in Spring. Mary was a very caring kind woman, she doted on her family. She had a great love for her animals too, as I often remarked that willie, marty and the other dogs, marvellous the cat and the ewes were better fed and minded than most children.
"You could see why her two beloved sons became very interested in all things fitness, Mary devoted herself to the nourishment of all around her. You couldn't get away from a call out without being brought into the house and a giant mug of tea being put in front of you."
A friend from school wrote: "We were in school together and we kept in touch over the years Mary was a lovely person and always enjoyed out chats when we met She will be missed by all who knew her."
Mary Kennedy is predeceased by her father and mother, David and Joan Conway, her father-in-law; Paddy Kennedy and her beautiful daughter, Sarah.
She will be deeply missed by her heartbroken family: her beloved husband, Michael; her adored sons, David and Michael Jnr; her sisters, Katleen (Hennessey), Ann (Sherlock), Sally (O’Halloran), and Evelyn (Meaney); her mother-in-law, sister-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, and their extended families; and her wide circle of neighbours and friends.
Mary will be reposing at her home in Skeheenarinky (E21 AW82) on Friday, December 27, from 4pm to 8pm. Funeral leaving her home on Saturday morning to arrive at the Church of the Assumption, Ballyporeen, for Requiem Mass at 12pm, followed by burial in the adjoining cemetery.
