Promising start sees Tipperary installed as joint second favourites for hurling league title

Tipperary are joint second favourites to win the Allianz National Hurling League Division One title.

The Premier County are rated as a 3/1 chance behind All-Ireland and league champions Limerick, who are 13/8 favourites.

Tipperary and Limerick, who each have maximum points from their opening two games, are scheduled to meet at the TUS Gaelic Grounds at 7.30 on Saturday evening, March 9 in the second last round of the competition, ahead of the semi-finals.

Cork are joint second favourites for the title at 3/1, followed by Clare at 5/1.

The Banner are the third and final side in the top tier with an unblemished record.
