Spring Medal and Spring League

The Spring Medal was sponsored by W.O. Morrissey Architects and the winner was Adam Cooney.
The Spring League was sponsored by Alan Maher (Londis).

Weather disrupts plans
Unfortunately the wet weather again this past week necessitated a slight change to the playing conditions with model local rule E-2 being implemented for play in the rough until further notice. Keep an eye on the club communications and notice boards for any updates to this.

Donoghmore Cup & Paddy Murray Fourball Qualifiers
The draws have been made for both the Donoghmore Cup Singles & Paddy Murray Fourball Matchplay competitions and are posted on the notice board. Be sure to get your rounds played before the set deadlines.

Inter-Club Teams
Our juniors continued their good form with a 2-0 win over Tipperary Golf Club in the junior foursomes on Sunday. Well done to all involved.
Best of luck to the JB Carr team who face Cahir in Clonmel on Tuesday.

Men's Fixtures
Next Saturday, May 11, we will run a Yellow Tees Singles Stableford Competition. Category Prizes. Entry fee €6.
The Bulmers Open Singles series continues on Tuesday, Friday & Sunday. Singles Stableford from the White Tees. Members €7, Visitors €20.
The Hub 9 hole singles stableford is running every day (after 2pm on a Saturday). Green Tees Men / Red Tees Ladies. Entry Fee is €3. Enter as often as you like!

Results
The Barlo Motors Open Fourball ran until Bank Holiday Monday, May 6. Results will be posted in next week's notes.

Club is alive with improved weather

Donoughmore Cup
The Donoughmore Cup Matchplay competition sign-up sheet is available in the Ladies Locker room. This competition is sponsored by Gwen and Johnny Walshe and the draw will take place after May 10th.

The Hub 9 Hole Competition
The Hub 9-Hole Summer series began on April 1st and is open to all club members. This competition can be played daily Monday to Friday, Sunday and after 2 p.m. on Saturdays (except during POY events).

Condolences
It is with sadness that we note the passing of one of our past lady members of Clonmel Golf Club, Sally Somers. Sally and her husband Michael were long-standing members of the club and Sally would have played on numerous teams over the years. We extend our sympathies to Michael and his extended family on Sally's passing.
