Tipperary's Aisling McCarthy wins ladies football Player of the Year award

Tipperary's Aisling McCarthy wins ladies football Player of the Year award

Player of the Year award for Cahir and Tipperary's Aisling McCarthy.

The TG4 intermediate Players’ Player of the Year award went to Tipperary’s Aisling McCarthy, who was player of the match in the Premier County’s TG4 All-Ireland intermediate final victory over Tyrone.

It has been a wonderful year for the Cahir player, culminating in the All Ireland win.

Aisling saw off stiff opposition from other players including her team and club mate and good friend Aisling Moloney (it’s a shame they could only be one winner!) but it was to be Miss McCarthy’s evening and well deserved too.

Aisling had a great season for both her county and club with great performances throughout the year.

Well done to Aisling from all in Cahir and Tipperary.

You did yourself, your parents and your club proud.
