Breaking: Mouth watering draws for Tipperary county senior hurling championship

Thurles Sarsfields finish strongly to beat Upperchurch Drombane in Tipperary SHC

Sarsfields remain on course for another title but have Kilruane MacDonagh in their way in the next round.

Champions Sarsfields have drawn recently crowned North champs Kilruane MacDonagh.

The Tipperary Water county senior hurling championship draws for the quarter final have been made and have thrown up some mouth watering clashes.

Holders Thurles Sarsfields have been drawn against recently crowned North champions Kilruane MacDonagh as part of a double header in Nenagh on Saturday 29th, with Toomevara and Drom-Inch providing the curtain raiser.

A day later in Dolla, Kildangan will take on Clonoulty Rossmore, while the winners of  Loughmore Castleiney  and Killenaule will play Eire Og Nenagh. Extra time will be played in all games in the event of a draw. 

The Preliminary Quarter Final sees Killenaule v Loughmore Castleiney on Tuesday next the 25th of September in Borrisoleigh at 8pm with extra time if required.

 The full fixtures are:

Toomevara v Drom and Inch – Saturday the 29th of September – In Nenagh at 2.30pm. 

Thurles Sarsfields v Kilruane MacDonagh – Saturday the 29th of September – In Nenagh at 4pm. 

Kiladangan v Clonoulty Rossmore – Sunday the 30th of September – In Dolla at 2pm. 

Winner of Loughmore Castleiney and Killenaule v Nenagh Eire Og – Sunday 30th of September – In Dolla at 3.30pm.
