Council proposes closure of road at level crossing in Tipperary community for almost a week

It's proposed to close the XL065 Monard Rail Level Crossing from October 15 to 21

Tipperary County Council will temporarily close the L-4201 at the XL065 Monard Rail Level Crossing at Monard for five days this month to facilitate upgrade works at the crossing. 

The Council will close the level crossing from 10pm on Tuesday, October 15 to 8pm on Saturday, October 19. 

The traffic diversion to Ayle/Cappawhite is via L8209, L4201, L4202, L4203 while the diversion route to Monard/Solohead is via L4203, L4204, L8210.
