DesignFest to bring crowds to Clonmel

Tipperary County Council’s Sinead Carr, Mayor of the Clonmel/Cahir Borough District Cllr. Andy Moloney, LIT’s James Greenslade, and Cathaoirleach of Tipperary County Council Cllr. Siobhán Ambrose.

DesignFest Clonmel's steering committee recently unveiled the programme for the 2016 event which takes place from Thursday 3rd to Tuesday 8th November in the town.  

A varied and exciting mix of events have been prepared to suit the general public and families, as well as some niche elements geared specifically towards people in the design industry and ancillary sectors.

Speakers at the DesignFest launch which took place in the Main Guard Clonmel included Sinead Carr (director of services for community and economic development in County Tipperary), Mayor of the Clonmel/Cahir Borough District Cllr. Andy Moloney, James Greenslade (head of school at Limerick School of Art and Design, LIT), and Cathaoirleach of Tipperary County Council Cllr. Siobhán Ambrose.
