Evelyn and Ella (pictured above) McCormack from Gortnahoe shone at the World Irish Dancing Championships recently.
Two sisters from the Deirdre Maher School in Kilkenny achieved great success at the World Irish Dancing Championships held in Killarney this week.
The dancers have been training diligently throughout the year to prepare for this premier event.
In the U10 Championship, Evelyn McCormack took home three world medals and achieved an impressive 11th place overall out of 107 competitors.
In the U12 Championship, Ella McCormack proudly took home three world medals and placed 26th overall out of 160 competitors.

Deirdre Maher expressed immense pride in her two nieces who participated this year.
Deirdre has classes at The Watershed Kilkenny and Xquisite Dance Studio in Hebron Industrial Park.
