Europcar, Ireland’s leading mobility service provider, has announced a €100 million investment across its services in Ireland and to expand their nationwide footprint with three new locations launched in Dublin, Tipperary, and Donegal. This initiative aligns with the company’s ongoing regional expansion plans and reflects its broader commitment to growth beyond just these new locations. The scale of this investment also signals strong confidence in the Irish market and its future potential.
Additionally, Europcar has revamped its Cloghran location in north Dublin, transforming it into a dedicated B2B and Van Centre. As part of this investment, the new branches have generated 15 new jobs in their respective local communities and enhanced the company's suite of available mobility solutions to B2C & B2B customers nationwide.
The new branches, already open for business, are located in Sandyford, Co. Dublin (A94 X5W7); in Clonmel, Co. Tipperary, (E91 KW63); and Donegal Airport, Co. Donegal, (F94X2RH); and Europcar’s B2B & Van Centre located in Cloghran, north Dublin (K67 FA36).

Europcar is dedicated to expanding access to mobility solutions throughout Ireland in 2025 and beyond, offering a sustainable, cost effective and flexible alternative to private and business vehicle ownership. The new locations bring Europcar’s nationwide footprint in Ireland to a total of 28.
With the opening of a new location in Sandyford and the relaunch of Cloghran as a dedicated B2B & Van rental hub, Europcar now offers B2B locations serving Dublin and surrounding regions that are easily accessible via the M50, with Sandyford located in the heart of the business district.
With vehicles available from as little as one day up to 24 months, Europcar’s B2B offering enables Irish businesses to preserve cashflow, reduce or remove the need for large scale capital fleet expenditure, and comes with servicing and maintenance included as standard.
Commenting on the announcement, Paul McNeice, Head of Country Ireland and Commercial Director, Europcar Mobility Group UK & Ireland, said: “We are delighted to announce this investment in the Irish business and open three new locations in Co. Dublin, Co. Tipperary and Co. Donegal, as well as the relaunch of our north Dublin branch in Cloghran as our new B2B and Van Centre. This latest investment underlines our commitment to Ireland and our confidence in its dynamic business environment. Europcar Mobility Group Ireland is committed to ensuring flexible and cost-effective mobility solutions are accessible wherever and whenever they are needed to help customers meet their daily transport needs - from commuting, shopping, recreational trips, and staycations - to providing short, medium and long-term business fleet solutions, vehicle replacement services and more.

Eddie Murphy, Operations Director, Europcar Mobility Group Ireland, said: “Europcar continues to invest in urban and regional locations to help local communities and businesses move how and when they want to. We look forward to seeing how the new investment will benefit a wide range of customers, from families, local and multinational businesses to national and international tourists, across these three areas.”
The full range of Europcar Mobility Services will be available at the new locations, for both private retail and commercial customers, including hybrid and electric cars, which are available to rent from just a day to longer-term use. The Donegal Airport branch also offers GoCar car sharing, in addition to Europcar’s full suite of car & van rental services. In 2025, Europcar’s deskless solution, already in use in Dublin Airport, will be rolled out across key locations nationwide - enabling fast and hassle-free vehicle collection and returns to both B2B and B2C customers.
