Tipperary Ladies Gaelic Football Association has welcomed the €379,851 Sports Capital Programme grant to Coláiste Dún Iascaigh in Cahir to assist with the construction of a large astro-turf facility at the school.
In a statement, the organisation said it was delighted with the announcement as the funds will be invested in the construction of this sports project that will form part of a Tipperary LGFA Centre of Excellence at Coláiste Dún Iascaigh.
" target="_blank" rel="noopener">Tipperary LFGA said it looked forward to working with Coláiste Dún Iascaigh and the wider community of Cahir on this ambitious project.
"The development of this exciting state of the art facility is going to be a great asset for Tipperary Ladies Gaelic Football Association and the community of Cahir," the Association added.
