Cashel will once again be transformed into a hub of music, laughter, spectacle, and creativity as the 23rd Cashel Arts Festival takes place from Thursday September 11 to Sunday 14.

This year’s theme, Footprints, celebrates the marks left by those who came before us, while inviting audiences to reflect on the impressions we ourselves might leave behind.

The voluntary committee behind the festival has once again curated a diverse and inclusive programme, with something for everyone. From headline concerts to family workshops, science lectures to street parades, the town will be buzzing for four unforgettable days.

Tickets for all events can be booked at www.cashelartsfest.com, while events at Brú Ború can be booked directly at www.bruboru.ie or by phone at 062 61122.

The festival opens on Thursday 11th September at 7pm in Teach Ceoil, Brú Ború, with an exciting first: a comedian leading the official opening. Tom O’Mahony will get things underway.

Later that evening at 8:15pm, Brú Ború hosts the first major headline event: Grassroots to Glory – The GAA’s Living Legacy.

Friday includes music from the Cashel Community School Choir at the Rock of Cashel (11am) and indie band Ham Sandwich bring their infectious energy to Brú Ború on Saturday night (9:30pm).

Sunday begins with yoga, pilates and a felting workshop, followed by a Choral Trail (10:30am–4:30pm) across Cashel’s historic sites, featuring choirs from Tipperary and beyond.

The festival will close with vocal ensemble Ardú playing in St. John the Baptish Cathedral from 8pm.
