According to Mr Purcell - who posted the information and CCTV footage of the incident on his social media page - two individuals accessed the back yard of his workshop - located directly across from the funeral home in the village - and left within five minutes, heading back through the village.
"These lads robbed the contents out of one of my vans in Upperchurch village in the early hours of Friday morning at 12.50am," he says.

The suspects were driving what is believed to be a silver or grey Toyota Avensis with distinguishing damage: one headlight missing and a broken tail light lens, Mr Purcell believes.
Mr Purcell is offering a €500 cash reward for information leading to the identification of those involved.
He stressed that no text messages or social media messages will be responded to and asked anyone with credible information to call him directly.
