Clonmel native Jake Byrne was praised for his work
A “superstar” Tipperary hotel team member has been celebrated by his employer as a rising star in the hospitality industry.
Clonmel native Jake Byrne works for the Talbot Hotel in Clonmel, starting almost a year ago in the hotel’s banqueting team, and working on the bar floor.
The local hotel paid tribute to Jake’s hard work on social media, calling the local man a “superstar”.

The Clonmel native has been bit by the hospitality bug since starting work at the Talbot, saying that he hopes to follow a career in hospitality by attending Shannon College of Hotel Management from September.
The popular local man also plays soccer for Clonmel Town, and is an avid Liverpool supporter.
The Tipp hospitality ace also said that taking part in the show Rock of Ages a few years ago was “the best buzz” ever.

The Clonmel hotel paid tribute to Mr Byrne, saying that "on behalf of all your friends here in Talbot Hotel Clonmel, thank you, Jake, for being part of our team and for being a super star".
