Cahir Park B 1 – 2 Peake Villa B
Peake Villa B began the sharper of the teams in this Tipperary Southern and District League (TSDL) Division 2 clash in Cahir.
An early free kick found Cathal McElgunn unmarked in the area, and he made no mistake to open the scoring. Minutes later McElgunn struck again, breaking through the backline and calmly finishing to make it 2–0.
That second goal sparked Cahir Park into life, and they were rewarded when Kyle Delaney pulled one back before half-time. Peake Villa were unfortunate not to extend their lead just before the break when a fierce volley struck both posts and bounced clear.

The second half saw Cahir Park dominate possession and push hard for an equaliser. Chances came and went, with the closest effort falling late on to Craig Guiry, whose shot rattled the post from close range.
Peake Villa defended resolutely in the closing stages to secure all three points.
