Michael Flynn from Tipperary Town was worried he would not be able to make his recent trip abroad
Independent councillor John O'Heney, a local councillor for the Tipperary-Cahir-Cashel Municipal District, recently pulled off some exceptional passport magic and saved the foreign holiday of one worried local man from Tipp Town.
Cllr O'Heney posted the story online, and encouraged other people from across the Premier County to come to him if they are experiencing severe delays in getting a renewed passport and have a trip abroad in the new future.
"The last few months have been a really busy time for resolving issues with passports," Cllr O'Heney stated.
"Michael Flynn from Tipperary Town recently contacted me at very short notice before his travel date, as his new Passport had not arrived, and would not arrive until serveral weeks after his departure date!!
"Luckily, I was able to resolve the problem for him and he enjoyed a great holiday with his family.
"Please contact me if you are experiencing similar Passport difficulties and I will be happy to help.
"Thank you to Michael's son Stephen for sending a lovely 'Thank you' message and photos of the family enjoying their holiday."
