1. No referees means no games, says west Tipperary GAA chairman
West Tipp GAA chairman Tom Hayes has called on clubs to discuss ways to combat abuse levelled at referees. He said: “Remember, no refs, no games!”
2. Construction of over €3million fire station begins in Tipperary
It was announced that construction on the new Cashel fire station is underway. The project is expected to be completed in late 2023.
3. Domestic violence remains a concern in Tipperary as the number of people coming forward increases
Councillors at the Tipperary JPC expressed concern about rising numbers of domestic violence incidents.
But the Tipp Chief Superintendent Colm O’Sullivan said the figures reflect more of an increase in those coming forward.

Cllr Imelda Goldsboro has warned about fake missing person appeals on Social Media. She said to be careful and if in doubt don’t share.
5. Public Health Mid-West urge all adults to get the latest booster vaccine amid surge in Covid-19
Public Health Health Mid-West is urging all adults to get the Covid-19 booster. Consultant Dr Maria Casey said they are concerned about a surge in Covid-19 in the past few weeks.
The second booster programme was extended to 18-49-year-olds this week.
